FAQ
Please feel free to contact me if you have any further queries.
WHEN CAN I START PILATES?
In most cases, you will start Pilates at the beginning of a term. Often due to high demand and to cater for late registrations, additional mat classes can and will be added to the existing term timetable if required.
WHEN DO MAT TERMS RUN?
I run four mat terms per year. Mat terms run for the school term. Depending on demand, we may start a shorter mat term for a group of people if required. We can also continue through school holidays should clients request this.
WHERE DO I START?
For those with little or no Pilates experience, are fine to attend the Tuesday evening class. Those with previous Pilates experience will be assessed and exercises provided based on level, experience and strength. The Friday class is a great class to learn the basics principles of Pilates.
WHAT DO I WEAR AND BRING?
Wear what is comfortable for you, but ensure your clothing allows you to move freely. Footwear is not necessary. You can bring a towel and water for re-hydration if you like. We do provide mats and other necessary equipment.
HOW LONG DO SESSIONS LAST?
Sessions last approx 60 minutes. Our Mums n Bubs Class on a Friday lasts 45 minutes. If you have questions after the class please feel free to stay to discuss any queries or concerns, or feel free to contact me directly through the website, email or social media.
CAN I DO PILATES WHEN I AM PREGNANT?
Yes, provided it is part of an ongoing Pilates programme you commenced prior to conception. It is not advisable to start Pilates during your pregnancy, but please discuss this with your GP first.
